A fool, at the potter's wheel,
his environs hasn't changed;
today's, unlikely genteel,
if yesterday was deranged.
A fox in the dark hen house
wreaks a tumultuous havoc;
a la carte, he and his spouse
enjoy jerked chicken, ad hoc.
A mouse in the cracker box
so noisy, he'll wake the dead;
too soon, Mother Hubbard's pox
could be hating cheese, instead.
A president, the White house,
besmirched and called it, "mistake";
"twenty-five times?" the wags grouse,
"Slick Willie give Truth a break!"
Fox and mouse, some understand.
presidents, as fools, most don't;
loose chief liar of this land
respect again? No, they won't!
