Deja Blue
What color is tomorrow
Is it blue like today?
Dare one hope to borrow,
From its spectrum display,
Relief for dread sorrow
Some hue not dismal gray?
Fate, a misconception,
An eternal miscue,
Each day new deception,
Another horrid hue
Planned since the inception,
Somehow, I must get through.
Who picks the palette's paints,
Mine drab and yours pastel,
Whose scenario taints
My future with past hell?
Fate regards man's complaints,
Not one will he dispel!
